The Cascada AN-water System incorporates an automatic sanitization cycle to be carried out once a month to minimize bacterial counts in the unit. TOC and resistivity were tested to determine the time for the unit to rinse up after the sanitization cycle. Resistivity was greater than 18 Mohm-cm after 10 minutes. TOC was within specification after 2 hours (< 2 ppb).

The Cascada AN-water System was fed with Reverse Osmosis (RO) permeate, and a TOC analyzer (Anatel A1000) was connected to record TOC and resistivity values. After the sanitization, the unit was left to recirculate with the analyzer connected.
