Introduction
The Cascada Lab Water Systems can incorporate a 0.2 µm point-of-use (POU) filter to remove bacteria from the product water. It is important that the POU filter does not add significant levels of impurities to the water extractables.
TOC and resistivity leading to high levels released from a new filter were measured. Water purity is very good after an initial 5-minute rinse. Top Results

Top Method
A POU filter was fed with ultrapure water at 1 L/min and the resistivity after the filter was logged. The water was then passed through a UV photo-oxidation chamber. The increase in conductivity was logged and used to calculate the TOC content of the water. Top |
